You will learn abstract compositions and how to work from the grid to clarify and strengthen your artistic voice, as well as the necessary steps to fix a painting that isn’t working. 

You’ll learn how to use color and value to make your paintings pop without being overstated or overworked. In this workshop we’ll cover techniques such as veiling, mono-printing, and using shapes and unconventional tools to enhance your style. Whether you paint purely abstract or paint nature-based abstract paintings, this workshop will give you the skills to improve your painting process and take the guesswork out of strengthening your voice as an artist.
