Bio
Anthony Vasquez, known professionally as AVone, is a Brooklyn-born artist currently based in Los Angeles. His work combines elements of collage, décollage, screen printing, painting, graffiti, and found materials to create richly layered compositions inspired by urban environments, memory, decay, and transformation.
For more than 20 years, Anthony has exhibited nationally and internationally while maintaining deep roots in street culture and contemporary art. His work bridges fine art and street art traditions, incorporating torn paper, distressed surfaces, typography, photography, and hand-painted elements.
Anthony’s teaching philosophy centers on process, experimentation, and creative freedom. Rather than focusing on rigid techniques, he encourages students to develop their own visual language while exploring a variety of materials and methods.
