I took the class taught by Joan Fullerton—intuitive abstract and collage—and every aspect of it was well-planned and beneficial. PaintSpace NOLA provided an atmosphere that was welcoming and comfortable where we could focus on Joan’s remarkable teaching. The hosts and their staff were all helpful and kind—the lunches they provided and served on their lovely patio were delicious, and the surrounding neighborhood was delightful and walkable. I will definitely consider taking another class here.

Just attended an inspiring workshop taught by the one and only Joan Fullerton, with her wicked sense of humor and clear instruction technique, in this studio. The space is well lit and air conditioned with all the facilities to accommodate artists splashing paint to their heart's content. Everything was well organized. I fell in love with New Orleans in the process and will be back!

What a workshop! Jason [Hackenwerth] encouraged us to play with our paint as we lay our paint and get out of our own way! Let the child out! He reminded me of my childhood, of my dad who brought a sense of play into everything we did together. Jason was an inspiration!
