"I have to brag on the beautiful studio in which everyone gets their own workspace with plenty of room to spread out. You get that opportunity to completely immerse yourself in your work, get in “the flow” and have that luxury , you don’t get at home, of uninterrupted time to create. I keep going back to see the artist friends I have made there over the past 2 years. Vanessa and Alisa feed you lunch every day, they help you unload, and get set up. They will recommend places for you to stay and where to eat. We all go out to a nice restaurant together, at least once. Treat yourself! You won’t regret it!"

"I did a four day workshop with Julie Snidle. We learned to use cold wax with oil pigment sticks. I loved it because everyone participating had a unique style and we learned from each other. I also loved it because Julie encouraged us to explore and experiment with the medium. We also spent time together as a group sharing meals and camaraderie. "There isn't enough room here to explain what a magical experience learning from Megan Woodard Johnson was over the last 4 days. The space itself had an easy energy that offered students the opportunity to lock in and fully engage, collaborate and share ideas, or put our headphones on and take it to the next level until we were ready to interact again! Vanessa and Elisa were incredible hostesses, organizing everything from our work spaces to the delicious, healthy lunches and snacks. They were extremely accommodating, had many suggestions for how to enjoy the city, and even organized a dinner for our group!
