In this hands-on half-day workshop, create a fun painting using the photo transfer technique on canvas.  

All supplies are included!  Bring your personal photographs or use the instructor's samples. Open to beginners as well as professional artists. 

Supplies PROVIDED ($50 value)

 12”x12” x ¾’’ primed canvases

 At least 10 different colored acrylics

 Matte Medium gel

 brushes

 old membership cards/gift cards to press out glue

 paper towels

 sanding paper

 plates for paint

 cups for water

 high contrast or black and white inkjet prints on copy paper

 scissors

Optional Supplies You Can Bring (not required)

 Your own favorite paintbrushes, acrylic paint colors, and other acrylic painting supplies if

you prefer

 Hairdryer - it makes the drying time faster for the acrylic underpainting. 

Photos

The instructor will have a selection of photos, but if you have personal photographs that you want to use, print them on an inkjet printer on regular copy paper or send a high-quality image to Andrea at andrea.kostyal@gmail.com using Subject Line "Workshop." You may also print them during the class. It can be in black and white or color, but higher contrast is better. You can bring more than one photo to use on the same canvas.
