This advanced abstract painting intensive is the next step beyond the Relentless class—a deeper dive into what happens the moment you enter the studio and let the work take over. Where previous workshops focused on turning raw emotion into form, Unbreakable Current asks: What if those forms begin to move, surge, and pull you into their flow?

Inspired by my evolving Relentless series—now driven by rhythm, light, and kinetic energy—this course treats the canvas as a living field. A place where momentum becomes your guide. Through sweeping gestures, fluid pours, bold impasto, and unexpected mixed-media interruptions, we’ll create paintings that feel alive long after the last mark.

You’ll explore advanced techniques with tools that make light and texture behave like current: sometimes soft and drifting, sometimes powerful enough to shake the room.

Drawing from the hero’s journey “return”—that moment of coming back changed—we’ll push abstraction to carry resilience not as an idea but as energy. We will ask questions such as: How do you paint joy that refuses to sit still? Grief that still lets light in?Strength that vibrates instead of hardens? 

You’ll work big, fast, and fearless.

You’ll destroy and resurrect paintings.

You’ll feel your own pulse in the work.

By the end, you’ll walk away with paintings that don’t simply hang—they move, shift with the light, and remind anyone standing before them that they, too, are part of an unbreakable current.
